Digital archival prints and screen print on MDF
In an age when so much is documented, collected and archived how do we determine and prioritize meaning? This work is comprised of images found taken accidentally on my cell phone, abandoned in Instagram accounts, and collected in the National Archives. The images capture both “nothing” and profound things. They are mounted on layered MDF and overlayed with a black screen printed images that visually and conceptually unify each piece both establishing and undermining the narrative potential of the work.
